Some people like to write presentations step by step while others like to wait until they have the best ideas. Which one do you prefer?
Writing presentations is common tasks for most students and employees. We have to admit that not many people like to write presentations because you always want to make a good one but more often than not they may not come up with good ideas shortly. Some people will wait until they have the best ideas or inspirations. I think writing step by step is a more efficient way.
It is true that they can finish the presentation perfectly if they have the proper ideas. They do not want to waste time going the wrong way so they choose to wait for the best moment to come. With clear objectives, people claim that they will be more accurate when writing the presentations. However, they fail to consider the fact that what if the perfect moment does not come. What if when they have the right idea, they do not have enough time to finish the presentation? Sometimes, insisting on doing things as a perfectionist will result in the total failure of the whole project.
Moreover, doing things early on gives people time to experiment different ideas. New ideas will come up at different stages of work. If they do not start the first step, the new innovative ideas will not emerge. The previous work is the basis for the ideas of the next one. Since they start early, they will have enough time to adjust their plans. Therefore, the end-results are the synthesis of all the carefully considered ideas and tend to be more sophisticated and refined.
In summary, writing from the beginning is a good technique to finishing presentation. It gives people time to adjust plans and incorporate ideas from different sources.
