The number of traditional architecture is declining dramatically. Some people argue the government should allocate funds to preserve cultural identity by building more traditional architecture, whereas others oppose this proposal. Personally, I hold that it is necessary to make every effort to conserve national identity.

Initially, traditional buildings represent local traditions and cultures. Thus, the construction of these buildings is the preservation of local history and customs. Secondly, traditional architecture reflects the outstanding construction techniques and aesthetic value of ancient people. Therefore, to build such buildings is to carry on the crystallization of ancient civilization. Last but not least, traditional buildings have unique features, which can distinguish an area from others.
